5 things im proud of this year 2008

1. first of all, i think expanding my music collection to 998 songs, 2.6 days, 4.67gb. my most played song is decoy by paramore (77 plays) followed by forever by chris brown (75 plays). most played chinese song was 明年今天 at 57 plays.

2. getting two merits! even though i got them last year, it shut up my parents about my 'education going bad'. IN YOUR FACE! :D

3. third is.....not being sad when i only received one xmas pressie. -sniff-

4. getting sunburnt all over my arms and knees. second and LAST time should i say..

5. still having my friends. im surprised i havent annoyed them so much that they would've ditched me by now and found a replacement. JK :)

Venus Bay - Inverloch

today we went down to venus beach to dig for some pipis. we left the house at 8:30am and returned at 10 lol. it took two and a half hours to get there and we were all digging like mad. i got soaked in sand and water and forgot to bring towels LOL. anyway we're gonna eat them tomorrow :)

gah cant feel my fingers. dug too hard in the sand. tiring :s

Wow these few days i've been downloading many chinese albums including Jay Chou, Fahrenheit, Raymond Lam and Hins Cheung. anyone suggest some good artists? and yay anita is helping me get raymond lam's your love album from china! <33

The Academy (2005)

This tvb series starred Ron Ng (<33), Sammul Chan, Tavia Yeung, Fiona Sit, Michelle Yim and Michael Miu. Second sequel, E.N.I, out next year. A series i cant wait for!

Ron decides to become a policeman because he misunderstands his mother and Michael's relationship. Ron quickly holds a strong grudge against Michael because of his strict personality and him always being around his mother. Ron hopes one day his divorced parents will unite so he doesn't like Michael being in the way of his parents uniting.

Sammul decides to become a police officer because he would like to have the responsibilities that a police officer has. He also likes the amount of money earned from being a police officer. His grandfather currently works for Fiona's family.

Tavia lives with her family and they are very poor. They steal items and resell them. Tavia joins the cadet school hoping she will one day become a police officer, so that her family doesn't have to trick and steal from any more people.

Fiona's family is very wealthy. Fiona decides to become a police officer because she wants to be like her hero, Michael. Michael once saved her in a fire when she was stuck in her car. Fiona's parents dislike her dream of being a police because this may damage her reputation, or mainly, their own.

The storyline revolves around friendship, love, family and life lessons.

time to say goodbye :(

today was hugo's farewell party at surina's house. i owned in buzz junior (tehehe everyone sucked jk jk.) We ate super dry wedges that were specially baked by surina and yummy half soggy chips. the party was so fun that six and a half hours had flashed by and it was time to go home. tomorrow is the last day for hugo and anita and it will be hard to say goodbye to these great friends. make sure you guys visit next year!

Personal Rating: 8/10

Orlando Bloom plays Balian, a young Frenchman who, having lost everything, finds honor and redemption on a valiant quest. Against staggering odds, Balian battles overwhelming forces to save his people and fulfill his destiny as a true knight.

This movie was mainly about Saladin trying to reclaim 'their holy land'. Muslims vs Christians. At the start, Balian's wife suicides because their child died during birth. The battle scenes were realistic and very bloody :) I love how Edward Norton portrays the leper king of Jerusalem. I also loved Eva Green as Sibylla, the one Balian falls in love with.

Overall I would rate this movie 8/10. One point down for surrending! -tut tut orlando-

Camp Rock is a 2008 disney movie starring Joe Jonas (Shane Gray), Demi Lovato (Mitchie Torres) and Meaghan Martin (Tess Tyler). Mitchie wants to become a professional singer. She wants to go to 'Camp Rock', a camp for aspiring young musicians. Her family can't afford it so her mum offers to cater food at the camp. Mitchie is ashamed of this and lies that her mum is the president of Hot Tunes TV China. Rock star Shane Gray is assigned to be in charge of the dance lessons at Camp Rock. Shane hears Mitchie's voice and falls in love with it, not knowing it was her. In the end, Shane finds out it was Mitchie's voice and a romance begins to blossom.

I found this movie sort of like High School Musical. The plot was okay and Mitchie moved too much while singing. (Like Troy in HSM.) I love the song, 'I gotta find you' by Joe Jonas. Overall I would rate this movie 7.5/10.
