Ron decides to become a policeman because he misunderstands his mother and Michael's relationship. Ron quickly holds a strong grudge against Michael because of his strict personality and him always being around his mother. Ron hopes one day his divorced parents will unite so he doesn't like Michael being in the way of his parents uniting.

Sammul decides to become a police officer because he would like to have the responsibilities that a police officer has. He also likes the amount of money earned from being a police officer. His grandfather currently works for Fiona's family.

Tavia lives with her family and they are very poor. They steal items and resell them. Tavia joins the cadet school hoping she will one day become a police officer, so that her family doesn't have to trick and steal from any more people.

Fiona's family is very wealthy. Fiona decides to become a police officer because she wants to be like her hero, Michael. Michael once saved her in a fire when she was stuck in her car. Fiona's parents dislike her dream of being a police because this may damage her reputation, or mainly, their own.

The storyline revolves around friendship, love, family and life lessons.
